Moray Place

This small basement courtyard garden in Edinburgh’s New Town was transformed from a dark and damp space into a bright, clean and attractive refuge through the introduction of a new granite floor, rendered and painted walls, a stainless steel trough planted with bamboo. A mirror on one wall extends the perception of the small space and lighting extends the presence of the garden from the house into the evenings.
