Experience

Giulia graduated with distinction from the University of Edinburgh in 2022 with a Masters in Landscape Architecture and the postgraduate prize for Best Performing Student in 2021-22. Giulia joined rankinfraser in the summer of 2021, prior to her graduating year in the ESALA programme.

Before returning for her master’s degree, Giulia worked for various non-profit organizations throughout the New York and Philadelphia park systems, namely the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy, Fairmount Park Conservancy, and Friends of the Wissahickon. During this time, raised over $1M for various infrastructure revitalisation and capital projects, developed community engagement strategies, and taught environmental education classes. Combined with a bachelor’s degree in Geosciece, Giulia’s experience and interests are broad, and extend to the multi-faceted social and ecological services provided through landscape architectural design.

Since joining rankinfraser, she has been involved in both public and private projects, spanning a diverse scale of urban masterplans, public realm, and residential developments throughout Scotland.
