 Experience

Jenny graduated in Landscape Architecture from The University of Edinburgh in 2019, here she was awarded the Landscape Institute Scotland prize for the Best Portfolio, in addition to the ESALA prize for Best Dissertation in Landscape Architecture. Both projects focused on the use of landscape to increase social, climate and environmental resilience. 

She has worked in practice in Edinburgh since January 2018 and joined rankinfraser in November 2020. She also works part time as a Tutor in Landscape Architecture at The University of Edinburgh. Jennys’ previous experience ranges from University master planning and country park design, to landscape design associated with high streets, active travel networks, post industrial sites and mixed use residential developments. 

Jenny joined rankinfraser in November 2020, since then she has been working on Prestonpans War Memorial Square, a sensitive improvement to the historic setting for the listed war memorial, and improved active travel access along the John Muir Way. In addition, she has worked on a mixed use residential development within the heart of the New Town of Edinburgh.
