Ngaire graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2018 with a Masters in Landscape Architecture with distinction. Her final project was awarded the inspirational planting prize. She joined rankinfraser immediately after graduating; having already completed a year of work in practice as part of her degree. Her previous practice experience includes a range of projects from private housing developments to large urban design projects across the UK. During her time at rankinfraser Ngaire has worked on a range of types and scales of project including the Knab Masterplan in Lerwick, a courtyard garden and estate masterplan for a private client near Dunblane, the proposed Wallyford  High School in East Lothian and the Canal Gates Entrance at Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal for the National Trust.
