The Hidden Gardens, Glasgow
New Public Garden
The multi-award winning garden seeks to accommodate both collective events and offer spaces for private contemplation within a framework which makes discreet references to garden design traditions from both eastern and western cultures. Elements of the physical remnants of the sites industrial past have been combined with suggestions of the previous horticultural use and the existing regeneration vegetation to create a multi-layered space which resonates in different ways with different visitors.
